Karen Wendt is an investment banker and has shaped Eastern Europe strategy at prominent European institutions before moving on to structured finance. Since 2001 she pioneered for two investment banks in introducing extra-financial risk management in structured finance, export finance and M&A transations and introduced also ESG strategies in asset management with her team as Head of Extra-Financial Risk Management. Today she researches about impact investing, theories of change, sustainable finance and the Fourth Industrial Revolution. She is mentor at F10 and CVVC, author  and  editor of the Sustainable Finance Science Series with Springer Palgrave Mac
