Rokkum-Testi, Maggie (CEO/CIO – Thalia)

Maggie is CEO, CIO and Co-Founder of Thalìa SA. Since the launch of the company in 2004, Maggie has been responsible for the investment process, for all the investment solutions managed by the company and for the Advisory relationships with Institutional Investors and sophisticated Private Clients since inception. She became the CEO in March 2016 and along with Thalìa’s CFO, is responsible for all business aspects and for managing Thalìa’s team.
As CIO, Maggie manages the investment team, comprised of a deputy CIO and 5 portfolio managers/analysts and chairs the Investment Committees. The Investment team at Thalìa manages a number of multi-manager investment vehicles domiciled in Switzerland and Luxembourg, including two white-label funds of hedge funds – the BSI Multi-Manager FOHFs launched  respectively in 1999 and in 2005,  the Thalia Alternative Sicav (TAS) umbrella fund composed of six sub-funds, a white label Fund of “Newcits” fund managed on behalf of BSI in addition to other bespoke investment solutions.
Maggie is a seasoned professional with more than twenty five years of experience in Asset Management and currencies, of which eighteen dedicated to Hedge Fund investing.  Thanks to her excellent reputation across the Hedge Fund community, Maggie and her team have built solid and trusted relationships with best of breed Hedge Fund managers and service providers and keep abreast of emerging talents in the Hedge Fund space.
In 2015, Maggie was celebrated among the “50 Leading Women in Hedge Fund” by the Hedge Fund Journal in association with Ernst and Young and was nominated “Hedge Fund Personality of the year” by the magazine Wealth and Management.
Maggie is a CFA charter-holder and has been a member of the CFA Institute since 1999. She holds a Masters in International Economics and Management from Bocconi University and a Master of Finance from the Norwegian School of Management.
Maggie is mother tongue Norwegian and English, fluent in Italian and has some knowledge of French.
