Nordhus, Espen (Executive Chairman – Securis Investment Partners LLP)

Espen Nordhus is the Executive Chairman of Securis Investment Partners LLP, as well as co-portfolio manager of the underlying funds. Until he left in March 2005 to establish the Investment Manager, Espen Nordhus was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley International Limited in London, which he first joined in July 1994. From June 2002 until he left, he was running Morgan Stanley’s Insurance Specialist Sales efforts. Prior to that, he was a European Insurance Research Analyst from 1997 when he started up the Morgan Stanley Insurance Research Team together with Rob Procter. Mr Nordhus initially started his career at Morgan Stanley in 1994 in the Debt Capital Markets Group before transferring to the Financial Institution Group within Morgan Stanley’s Mergers & Acquisitions Department in the spring of 1995. He received his Master of Business and Economics from Norwegian School of Management in 1994 with a specialisation in Financial Theory and Portfolio Theory. Prior to that, Mr Nordhus was in the Norwegian Infantry between January 1988 and June 1990. He was a platoon leader between October 1989 and June 1990 and he left the army as a Second Lieutenant.
