Settembre 21, 2015 11:30 amAnja Hochberg (CIO Switzerland and Europe – Credit Suisse) studied economic history, macroeconomics and law in Berlin, successfully completed postgraduate studies in the field of international economics at the College of Europe in Brügge, Belgium and earned her doctorate at the University of Wales. In addition, she was engaged as professor of economics for four years at the University of Wales, focusing on the area of international financial markets. Ms. Hochberg served as a member on the Managing Director Evaluation Committee (MDEC) during 2010, 2011 and 2012. In 1999, Ms Hochberg transitioned from her academic endeavours to economic practice, moving to the economics department of the Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen (Helaba) in Frankfurt. Here she was responsible for analyzing the G7 economies and financial markets. Since January 2001, Ms Hochberg has been employed within Credit Suisse holding senior research and asset management positions. As the Head of macro research she was until 2009 on a global level responsible for economic analysis, interest rates & yield forecast and the analysis of foreign exchange, commodity & real estate market. As per August 09 she has been appointed the Head of Investment Strategy for Asset Management division. Since August 2013, Dr. Hochberg is the Banks Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for Europe and Switzerland.
