Foti, Francesco (Strategic Director – Diamond Laser Invest)

Born in Reggio Calabria on June 6, 1947, Francesco built his early professional experience in the marketing offices of multinational corporations across various Italian and European cities. In 1973, following a true passion, he dedicated himself to the world of luxury goods, through the creation and launch of a number of enterprises. A keen observer of social phenomena, client needs and technological innovation, he created in 1995 the revolutionary laser certification system for diamond, known as “Diamond Laser System,” which allows to identify in permanent fashion a unique gem, without compromising its aesthetics and structure. Among the world top experts in gems and in particular diamonds and pearls, Francesco has published numerous times, including his key work “The Lord of Pearls” and “The Lord of Diamonds.” He currently serves as Strategic Director in one of the most active companies in the world of diamonds, and has been the engine behind a relentless effort of promotion of the diamond in general and of its “DIAMOND LASER INVEST” product in particular.
