Before to move to Brussels, where he was involved in research and public affairs activities for the International Organization of Social Tourism (ISTO) and the European Federation of Ethical and Alternative Banks (FEBEA), Simone covered administrative and business development positions in Italy. Currently, he lives in Luxembourg where he works as Project Coordinator and Impact Investing Officer for SELECTRA Management Company. He is Member of the Board of European Impact Investing Platform SICAV-SIF, the first incubator dedicated to impact investing funds. Simone graduated from the University of Bologna in Organization Sciences, International Sciences and Diplomatic Affairs, and Social Economy. He also holds a Master Degree in Banking, Funds and Markets from ICN Business School of Nancy and a Specialization Certificate in Project Management from University of California, Irvine.
