After obtaining his degree in 2001 in Institutions and Financial Market Management from Bocconi University, Milan, he started working in the financial markets for several private companies in Italy specializing in Equity Index derivatives and options. In December 2005 he began his career in Portfolio Management working as co-manager of a derivative hedge fund, where he achieved an annualised return of about 40%. In June 2008 he founded The 1.2 Fund Ltd and has been one of the directors responsible for the Trading Strategy and Position Management with a net annualized return of circa 10%, overperforming the average annual return of the S&P500 since 2008. In 2013 he co-founded Option Solutions LLP, the Investment Manager for The 1.2 Fund Lux, a UCITS Fund, part of the Julius Baer Multipartner SICAV, specialised in trading options on the S&P500 Future Index. He is a partner and the chairman of the Management Committee of the company.
