Carcano, Alida (Founder – Valeur Investments)

Having started her carreer in 1989, Alida Carcano covered several positions at international banking institutions such as Deutsche Bank, UBS and Credit Suisse, moving from Italy to Switzerland, London, Singapore and Hong Kong.
In 2007 she left the banking world and, after a sabbatical year dedicated to the family, in 2009 she created Valeur Investments in Switzerland.
Other ventures followed in the Asset Management business in Singapore, Luxemburg, Milan and London.
She is also partner of Lagom Family Advisors, a multi family office based in Lugano, and MdotM, an Artificial Intelligence driven investment strategy developer based in Milan and London.
She graduated with Magna cum Laude at the Luigi Bocconi University in Milan and is a CFA charterholder.
She  has a keen interest in foreign languages and literature
